As Winemaker and General Manager at Pope Valley Winery, he oversees every facet of production—from vineyard strategy to final blend—shaping wines that are both expressive of place and refined in structure.

Heritage & Family
Legacy of the Eakle Family
Diana Eakle Hawkins and David Eakle began working as teenagers at the winery and vineyards, helping with harvest and bottling. The sibling duo took over ownership of the estate in 2017, from Father Sam Eakle. Sam Eakle says, "It's a gift to have children who want to continue their family's legacy and take it to the next level. With a small management team, David and Diana are very hands-on in every aspect of the business."
